Privacy policy — Mail billing
Mail billing is a desktop application installed on the user's own computer. It is operated by its user, for the user's own data.
What it accesses. With the user's permission, the application reads emails and attachments in the user's Gmail account to find utility bills, saves those bills to folders in the user's Google Drive, and writes summaries to a Google Sheet in the user's Drive. It uses the Gmail, Google Drive and Google Sheets permissions the user approves at sign-in.
Where data is kept. All data stays in the user's own Google account and on the user's own computer. The application does not send the user's emails, files or personal data to any server operated by us or by third parties.
Licensing. To issue a license, the application sends one encrypted request to our support mailbox containing the user's Google address, a machine identifier and a contact name and phone typed by the user. This is used only to issue and renew the license.
Google user data. Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access. The user can withdraw the application's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/connections.
